How we decide what to recommend, and what we do when we get it wrong.
Independence
The verdict and comparison matrix are decided on the merits. Whether a tool pays an affiliate commission never affects its placement, and we recommend free or self-hosted options over paid ones whenever the numbers say so.
How articles are produced
Articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against a fixed standard before publishing: every price and limit must be current or clearly hedged, every workflow must name its failure modes, and anything that cannot be supported is cut. We do not claim hands-on benchmarks or client work that did not happen.
Prices
SaaS and API pricing changes often. Cost tables show the arithmetic so you can re-run it with current prices. When a price changes, we update the article and mark it as updated.
